POPIA Consent
This consent explains the processing that you authorise when registering or booking through FindADoctor.

Your consent
You consent to FindADoctor collecting and processing the personal information you submit for account administration, identity and professional verification, appointment facilitation, patient-practice communication, notifications, support, safety, and legal compliance.
Special personal information
Where you provide a reason for a visit, medical aid details, or other health-related information, you consent to that information being processed and shared with the healthcare professional or practice you selected for the purpose of arranging and managing care.
Necessary disclosures
Information may be handled by authorised staff and contracted operators that support secure hosting, communications, and platform operations. These parties must process information only for authorised purposes and subject to appropriate safeguards.
Your choices
You may withdraw consent for future consent-based processing by emailing support@findadoctor.co.za, but this does not invalidate earlier lawful processing and may prevent us from providing features that require the information. Support hours are Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 SAST, with responses within 24 business hours. Other processing may continue where authorised or required by law.

FindADoctor records the consent type, policy version, context, and date accepted to demonstrate your choice and meet accountability requirements.
